Nursery Inspiration - Gender Neutral

I've gone back and forth with what to do with the nursery for the new one that's steadily growing inside me.  Since, by my husband's request, we are not finding out the gender of this one, I have to be creative with the color scheme, decor, and still think about the furniture we already have from Emmy's room.

With some advice from my bestie Ashley, I've decided on gray and white, mainly using two patterned fabrics other than solid gray and solid white.

I love this dresser from Ikea, and the arrangement of decor on the walls, and the ottoman puff.

I am on the look out for a gray and white rug like this one.

Or this.

And, I'm thinking of getting two of these for the nursery, if there is room.

Carousel designs has changing table covers for sale in any choice fabric from their collection.

Just LOVE this - totally not a necessity.

So, what do you think?

  1. I've been keeping my eyes out for rugs since our new house is hardwood. Here's a couple ideas- garnet hill has a couple gray ones. Those can get pricey if they aren't on sale. You can check jossandmain.com or onekingslane.com. They have new sales daily and rugs about every other day. The sales last a couple of days. You can usually find gray rugs. Hope that helps!

  2. Love it! Audrey and Walker are sharing a room because our upstairs isn't finished yet. (Ok, it's nowhere close because we are broke. Haha) Anyway-I used gray chevron throughout their room too since it's a great neutral and still exciting! I love gray and white with pops of teal throughout! :)

  3. Love grey and white, and then you can do an accent color in a "boy" or "girl" color! So cute!
